July 22, 2007 - a Chem Free Family Event...

2007 BAD Ride will again be held in Rockland, Maine, it is a coastal fundraising ride combining what we like best - namely motorcycling - with an effort to defeat a disease that affects some 73,000 Mainers.

Registration begins at 8am. The minimum donation to register is $35 for the rider, $15 for passenger. There is no maximum. In years past, some folks have raised thousands to help defeat diabetes. (Please see About Fundraising)

Top Fundraiser gets 50 pounds of Lobsters
2nd-5th Place will receive 25 pounds of lobsters - each!!

The ride is a modified gypsy tour.

At registration each rider will be given a map of the route - roughly 100 miles - and told "lunch begins at noon" --- off you go! There will be raffle stops along the route, music and prizes at lunch, not to mention loads of good motorcycle comradery. Lots of work, tons of fun... and a Great Cause!!
