A Word About Money...

In order to Ride, each participant in a BAD Ride needs to raise a $35 minimum in contributions per motorcycle... ($35 for rider; $15 for pillion)

It is hoped that this money is not the motorcyclist's, but donated by those who know them...

Some folks bring the $35, some bring thousands of dollars in small checks made payable to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (memo: BAD Ride), a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity... donated by friends, neighbors, family, employers... You may download and print receipt forms for your contributors.

Many employers offer matching funds for their employees' charitable efforts. Riders should check with theirs concerning details.

Donations may be tax deductible, depending on your tax situation.
