BAD Ride nets $11,000

Bikers Against Diabetes held a BAD Ride Gypsy tour at the American Legion Hall on Route 17 in Augusta. Riders form diverse parts of maine decende on the facility around 8am, bringing with them contributions gathered on behalf of the American Diabetes Association.

After registering, riders were issued route maps and set on their way... a ride of some 100 miles... be back for lunch! Burgers and dogs on the grill.

A host of prizes were raffled off, tickets were sold at the Legion and along the riders' route.
